Sam Pierce

Sam Pierce has spent more than fifteen years involved in the values-based investment community. In addition to his current role at Conflict Securities, Mr. Pierce has served as CEO and President of IW Financial since 2003. Prior to IW Financial, Mr. Pierce served as Director of Research for the Socially Responsible Investor Services division of Proxy Monitor. He has also been Vice President at Citizens Funds and Assistant Vice President at Wellington Management Company. Mr. Pierce earned his B.A. from Harvard University.

Hon. Roger W. Robinson, Jr.
Founder

Roger Robinson brings to CSAG twenty-five years of experience in identifying and analyzing international security risks. He was formerly Senior Director of International Economic Affairs at the National Security Council and Executive Secretary of the Cabinet-level Senior Inter-Governmental Group for International Economic Policy (SIG-IEP). Prior to his government service, Mr. Robinson was a Vice President in the International Department of the Chase Manhattan Bank with responsibilities for Eastern and Central Europe, Yugoslavia and the former Soviet Union. For the past twenty-five years, Mr. Robinson has served as President and CEO of RWR Advisory Group, a Washington-based consulting firm.

From 2001 to 2005, Mr. Robinson served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Congressionally-mandated U.S.-China Security Review Commission. He has frequently testified before Senate and House Committees and has made numerous media appearances, including all of the major broadcast networks, CNN and Fox. Mr. Robinson earned his MA in International Affairs from the Elliott School of the George Washington University and a BA from Duke University.

Mr. Andrew K. Davenport
Senior Advisor

Andrew Davenport has ten years of experience in analyzing corporate ties to security-related concerns and their implications on financial markets and corporate reputation. With Roger Robinson, Mr. Davenport helped found CSAG in 2001 and presently also assists in the management of RWR Advisory Group.

In July 2006, Mr. Davenport testified before the Joint Economic Committee of the U.S. Congress on the role played by international companies in the development of Iran's energy resources. Mr. Davenport earned an MA in Security Policy Studies from the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University in May 2002. He earned a BS in Business Economics and Public Policy and International Studies at Indiana University.
